More From the Four

Oct 26, 2020
Last week we celebrated the 2010 debut album from 4 Guys From the Future. Three years later - to almost exactly the same day - 4 Guys From the Future came back with their second album Adagio (2013).

The band's mastermind, Bjarke Porsmose, says that Adagio distinguishes itself from the debut Under the New Morning Sun with a stronger focus on songwriting - a bold statement after listening through the debut album's hit-after-hit tracklist.

Yet, Porsmose's claim holds up. Adagio is a more holistically composed album, themes returning throughout, and influences from long ago merging with Porsmose's signature trailblazing composition.

Listen to Adagio on our Happy Birthday To... playlist here.
