2018 in review

Jan 19, 2019
Happy new year to you all.

While getting ready for 2019 we also want to look back on 2018. We’ve had the honours of putting out albums by The New Spring, August Rosenbaum, Palace Winter, Skammens vogn, and Pardans as well as som kick-ass singles by Molina and The Entrepreneurs (here’s all of our 2018-releases).

Palace Winter’s album Nowadays absolutely killed it and made it onto the UK indie chart at #24 (just ahead of tambou-alumni Iceage, now on mighty Matador). New artists Crush, Molina, Pardans, and The Entrepreneurs joined our roster. We also revamped our website, launched a publishing division and wrapped up deals with ace new partners at Republic of Music and Rough Trade Distribution.

In case you’re in need of some new music recommendations that aren’t released by yours truly (but who’d need that?!) we’ve compiled our staff favorites from 2018 in a neat playlist here. You can also follow our New Releases-playlist and On Repeat-playlist for more frequent updates.

We’re looking forward to 2019 and music from (at least) The Entrepreneurs, IRAH, Chorus Grant, Crush, and Intet Altid.

If you feel like you haven’t heard enough from us in 2018, it might be worth following us on the platforms below if you’re not doing so already:
